    In order to vigorously promotes the technical research in the field of wool textile, promote the industrialization of technical achievements and train high-quality wool professional and technical personnel, Shan Dong Nanshan Zhishang SCI-TECH Co.,Ltd. has set up the Wool Textile Research Institute, which is an innovation platform with the enterprise as the main technical and research body that collaborates industry, university and research with company researchers, university teachers and graduate students as the backbone of research.

    1. The organizational structure of Wool Textile Research Institute

    The Wool Textile Research Institute is responsible for the implementation of the president's responsibility system, which has a project management department, a research and development department, a scientific and technological achievements department, an education and training center and other departments. The president is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Wool Textile Research Institute and the overall management of technology research and development. Meanwhile, the team leader is responsible for the specific project research, and the team leader is responsible for the whole process of research and development, implementation and promotion of technical achievements.

    2. Achievements of production - university - research collaboration

    Since 2010, the Wool Textile Research Institute and Xi’an Polytechnic University have cooperated to develop and organize four acceptance projects.

    1. Research and application of key technology of ultra-thin worsted fabric with integrated spinning wool cicada yarn

    The project was appraised by provincial scientific and technological achievements in 2010, with advanced technical level. This project has carried out all-round research and improvement on existing equipment and technology, and has formed a set of key technical schemes integrating new textile materials, new textile equipment and new textile technology. By applying this technical scheme, our company successfully spun yarns with a count exceeding Nm 500 / 2, and successfully developed ultra-thin fabric with a weight of 60g per square meter of fabric, with the single piece of shirt weighing only 135g.

    This project won the First Prize of the 2011 Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the 2011 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award.

    2. Development and application of new energy-saving and water-saving technology for wool dyeing system

    The project was appraised by provincial scientific and technological achievements in 2010, and the technical level is in the forefront of the industry. This project technology is suitable for dyeing all kinds of dyes and equipped with advanced waste heat recovery technology, which can shorten dyeing time, save energy such as water, electricity and coal and etc., and also improve production efficiency.

    This project won the Third Prize of the 2012 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize of the 2012 Yantai Science and Technology Progress Award.

    3. Research and application of key technologies of flame retardant, water repellent and oil repellent composite functions of worsted fabrics

    In 2012, the project carried out provincial scientific and technological achievements appraisal, and the technical level is in the forefront of the industry. The fire-retardant and water-repellent and oil-repellent composite functional fabric developed by this project is mainly aimed at the medium-and high-grade protective clothing market that is worn near open flames, sparks, molten metal and places with flammable substances and fire hazards. Through the technical research and development of this project, a series of new technologies and new processes in the textile dyeing and finishing field have been formed. There are two invention patents being formed.

    This project won the Second Prize of the 2013 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize of the 2013 Shandong Province Science and Technology Progress Award.

    4. Development and application of worsted fabric with radiation-proof and antibacterial composite functions

    In 2012, the project carried out provincial scientific and technological achievements appraisal, and the technical level is in the forefront of the industry. The worsted fabric product developed in this project has the combined functions of radiation prevention, antibiosis and water and oil repellency, and also has the functions of radiation prevention, antibiosis, antistatic and oil and water repellency. Electromagnetic shielding effectiveness is 30 - 52dB; Point - to - point electricity resistance is 1× 105 - 1× 107 Ω, which reaches the national antistatic clothing standard A level. Besides, the antibacterial rate of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans reaches more than 99.0 %. In addition, oil - proof performance is 100 points and water repellency reaches level 4. Moreover, the physical and mechanical properties meet the requirements of the national standard for combed woolen fabrics.

    In 2012, the project carried out provincial scientific and technological achievements appraisal, and the technical level is in the forefront of the industry. The worsted fabric product developed in this project has the combined functions of radiation prevention, antibiosis and water and oil repellency, and also has the functions of radiation prevention, antibiosis, antistatic and oil and water repellency. This project has formed a complete set of key textile dyeing and finishing technologies for composite functional fabrics through in-depth study of spinning mechanism, fabric weaving process and finishing process. This project forms 4 patents and won the Second Prize of Yantai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2013 and the Second Prize of China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award in 2014.

    3. Talents training and introduction

    1. Research and joint training of postgraduate students in the company

    Since 2011, the company has signed an agreement with Xi’an Polytechnic University to send postgraduate students to the company to study cooperative projects in Nanshan Zhishang , and to jointly train the graduate students in order to improve their scientific research ability and practical technical level. After several years, our company has completed the training of 10 postgraduate students.

    2.Undergraduate course training for textile engineering

    Our company has signed a training agreement with Xi’an Polytechnic University for textile engineering undergraduate courses in order to improve the professional and technical ability of front-line technicians in the workshop. Since 2012, our company has continuously started the training of textile engineering undergraduate courses and has now completed two training sessions, training104 technicians in total.

    3. Xi’an Polytechnic University - Nanshan National Engineering Practice Education Center for Zhishang and Clothing

    In 2013, the " Xi’an Polytechnic University - Shan Dong Nanshan Zhishang SCI-TECH Co.,Ltd.. Engineering Practice Education Center" built by the Company in cooperation with Xi’an Polytechnic University was rated as a National University Student Practice Education Base by the Ministry of Education. Under this platform, our company and Xi’an Polytechnic University signed the " Excellent Engineer Education and Training Agreement" for textile engineering, light chemical engineering and other specialties. In June 2015, the first batch of six outstanding textile engineering engineers smoothly passed through their graduation report and successfully completed their university studies.

    4. Talents introduction

    In recent years, our company has introduced dozens of postgraduate and undergraduate students from Donghua University, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Xi’an Polytechnic University and other universities, and has assigned them to various key positions in our company. By introducing highly educated talents and entrusting them with important tasks, our talent structure and technical strength have been optimized and strengthened, and our scientific research strength has been continuously improved.
